World Heart Day – September 29th

Next week, citizens across the world will promise to make one change to improve their heart health or the heart health of others. Written promises posted on social media will demonstrate a commitment to change!

Staff and students at the Health and Wellbeing Academy are passionate about inspiring individuals to take control of their own health and we will be leading by example, making our own promises and posting these on Tuesday 25th September. Dr Emma Rees who leads cardiology services in the Academy will start the Swansea University element of the campaign on Monday 24th September. Will you join her and make your own promise?

Call in the Health and Wellbeing Academy (Glyndwr Building) next week to support the campaign and write your promise to show your commitment to change. If you have Twitter or Instagram you can post your promise with #worldheartday and @humanandhealth .

If you are unable to call in to the Academy you can still post your written promise on social media or create your own poster and social media image on the world heart day website!
