Summer Graduation Ceremonies Postponed – 18.03.20
Reluctantly, we have taken the decision to postpone the summer graduation ceremonies following the government’s new measures regarding mass gatherings.
We realise that this will be a disappointment to those of you who were looking forward to celebrating your achievements in the summer, however our intention is to reschedule the event when it is safe and appropriate to do so and those eligible will be notified once new dates have been arranged.
Please be assured that this postponement does not affect the time frame for the completion of your studies.

If the situation changes, and it is safe to do so, will the University decide revert to the original date Graduation was scheduled for?
Hello Matthew and thank you for your message. It has been confirmed that Graduation will not be taking place in July I’m afraid. Due to the current climate, it doesn’t allow staff to make the relevant preparations and necessary arrangements to run this major event. We appreciate this is very frustrating and disappointing, however the welfare of our students and staff are paramount. Students WILL have an opportunity to celebrate their achievements at a safe and convenient time of which students will be notified. Please keep an eye on your emails, the student newsletter and the MyUni Social Media channels for any developments surrounding this matter. Thanks
