Red Canvas logo over hands typing on a keyboard“Canvas” will be the University’s new digital learning platform from the 31/07/20. This means that Blackboard will no longer be available from this date, but don’t worry we’re making sure that academic material from previous years’ is kept safe and accessible.

Canvas is easy to use, so you’ll be able to start navigating the platform straight away, but to make sure that you have everything you need to get the most out of Canvas we’ve produced a comprehensive guide called “Passport to Canvas”.

“Passport to Canvas” will always be available to you, meaning that you can go through the material in one go, or dip in and out of it as you wish. You can access the platform on this link. Canvas can also be accessed from within your University apps and the MyUni webpages.

If you need help or support with the Canvas system, Canvas Support is available 24/7 365 days a year in the following ways:

  • Canvas Support Hotline
  • Canvas Chat
  • Report a problem

You can access these avenues of support via the Canvas Help icon in the navigation menu on the Canvas Platform.
