Red Canvas logo over hands typing on a keyboardToday marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Swansea University with Canvas officially becoming our digital learning platform. It seems fitting that we welcome this pivotal transformation as we celebrate our Centenary year. Swansea University has a proud heritage of learning and teaching excellence, and Canvas will serve as a catalyst to further modernise and enhance the university experience for all our students and staff.

Guidance, support and information remains available and can be found on the following links:

“Passport to Canvas” Student Orientation Guide

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in helping us reach this key point in our implementation of Canvas. This includes our students and staff who identified Canvas as being the platform which best aligned with our ambitious plans for the future, the core project team and all those who continue to support the project. I would also like to thank our student “Canvas Pioneers” who provided feedback on their experiences of the platform, helping to shape the wider university roll out.

I hope that you will find Canvas a beneficial and engaging tool to support you in all aspects of your learning journey.
