National coronavirus circuit-break to be introduced in Wales on Friday 23 October: The Welsh Government have announced a two week ‘circuit-break’ period for COVID-19 starting Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November. It will apply to everyone living in Wales and will replace the local restrictions which are in force in some parts of the country.
What does this mean for students?
We ask that you respect these Government regulations to protect yourself and the community around you and to avoid any further restrictions. Any breach in guidelines could result in University discipline or indeed legal implications.
We will keep you updated with any changes and we are regularly updating our website for your questions and answers and you can read the full statement on the Welsh Government’s website.
We would like to reassure students that the University remains a safe environment for face to face teaching delivery and we would encourage you to continue to engage in you learning in a blended format.
Please keep yourselves and the wider community safe.
