This is to notify all members of Swansea University Students’ Union that an election will be taking place to fill the following Officer positions:

Full-time Officers

• President
• Education Officer
• Societies & Services Officer
• Sports Officer
• Welfare Officer
• Welsh Affairs Officer

Part-time Officers

• BME (Black & Minority Ethnic) Officer
• Environment Officer
• Ethics Officer
• General Secretary
• International Officer
• LGBT+ Officer (Bay)
• LGBT+ Officer (Singleton)
• Mature Students Officer
• Mental Health Awareness Officer
• Students with Disabilities Officer
• Trans and Non-Binary Awareness Officer
• Women’s Officer

Election Timetable

• Nominations Open: 25th January 2021 at 11am
• Nominations Close: 19th February 2021 at 3pm
• Candidates Meeting: 19th February 2021 (Compulsory for candidates)
• Manifesto Deadline: 23rd February 2021 at 11.59pm
• Campaigning Begins: 5th March 2021 at 6pm
• Voting Opens: 8th March 2021 at 11am
• Voting Closes: 11th March 2021 at 1pm
• Receipts Deadline: 11th March 2021 at 3pm
• Results Announced: 12th March 2021
