We are pleased to announce Swansea University will offer a rent reduction to students in University Halls (Bay Campus, Beck House, Singleton Campus and HSV) who have been asked to remain at home and not return to Swansea due to Covid restrictions.
Eligible students will be asked to apply for a rent reduction from the period of 4th January to the 15th February 2021. Invoices will be postponed for students in University Halls until the 6th May. Please note, if you are in University Residences during this period you will not receive a reduction and can pay through your intranet account.
We will be emailing all students in University accommodation next week with more detail on eligibility, how to apply and how this will be issued.

Thanks for all your efforts in getting the rent reduced, any hope in convincing the authorities to reduce the tuition fees considering the fact that all lectures have been online, no lab attendance, no library etc?
Is it a 100% refund or only partial?
Hello Benjamin! Please email accommodation@swansea.ac.uk directly. A member of their team will be able to give you more information surrounding this. Thanks
Good evening,
I recently received the email concerning the reduction of rent from the 4th of January until the 15th of February. I wanted to ask if I will still have to pay the full rent in the upcoming days and then I will be given a refund, or shall I pay after completing the application for the reduction of rent?
Thanks in advance for your help
