Students who are struggling to meet essential expenses as a direct result of the current pandemic will be able to make applications to access the Covid-19 HE Student Support Fund on the 6th April.
Current (enrolled) Swansea University students eligible for the fund will be able to apply here.
The award is provided by the Welsh Government to support students who have faced financial loss due to the pandemic and those who are assessed to be eligible will receive one payment of £350.
More information on the fund and a list of FAQs can be found on our web pages. If you have any queries please email Covid19supportfund@swansea.ac.uk
If you have previously made an application to one of the University’s Hardship Funds, you can also apply to the Covid-19 HE Student Support Fund – as long as you meet eligibility.
Similarly, if you would like to apply to the Covid-19 HE Student Support Fund and feel that you are still struggling financially, you can also make an application to the University’s Hardship Funds. For full information, please visit our Hardship Funds webpage.
