Commencing 05.07.21 for three weeks, we will be carrying out a substantial road reconstruction on Fulton roundabout, which will involve the installation of a 3-way temporary traffic light system.
One set of lights will be on the approach to Fulton roundabout from the main entrance, one will be located between Grove and Wallace buildings, and one will be located between Fulton and Grove. Please see attached plan.
As a result of and for the duration of these works, the bus shelter outside Fulton House will be out of action. A temporary bus stop will be in place at the side of Union House for the duration of the works. The map attached shows the location of the stop.
Buses will run as normal, however the First Cymru 3A service to Mumbles and 10 service to Singleton will not stop on site; neither will the NAT service 116 towards North Gower. The nearest stop for these would be at Singleton Hospital. Please check the First app for timetables and any updates. For Nat services please check the NAT Group website.
We appreciate your patience while these works are being undertaken. Please only drive onto site during this time if it is necessary. We kindly ask that you adhere to the system in place and do not use the bus entrance between the hospital and our site. This is for buses only.
The taxi drop off and pick up location will be located outside Wallace building. Please advise the taxi company, as there will be no pick up/drop off outside Fulton House at this time.
If cycling or walking, please be aware of the traffic light system in place and take care to watch for traffic from both directions.
If cycling on the road, please adhere to the traffic light system for your safety.
The Santander cycles will be unaffected and available throughout the whole of this period.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete these essential works.
