We are asking all students to take part in asymptomatic COVID-19 tests before you return to University and whilst at University. This will help those who are asymptomatic but could spread the virus know that they have to self-isolate. We strongly recommend you take part in the asymptomatic tests to help keep our university community safe and help keep campus activity safe and open.

The tests are available free of charge.

Order rapid lateral flow home test kits on GOV.UK. You can order 1 home testing kit (7 tests) at a time. Delivery takes 1 to 2 days.

You can also collect testing kits in person. Find your nearest collection point and opening times (on nhs.uk).

You can collect rapid COVID-19 tests from most pharmacies. Find out if a pharmacy near you is offering this service.

Home testing kits are available to pick up from Bay and Singleton campuses and you don’t need an appointment:

  • Taliesin Create on Singleton Campus from 9.30am to 3pm, Monday- Friday (from 20th September)
  • The Core from Bay Campus from 9.30am to 3pm, Monday- Friday (from 20th September)

To enable us to support you please let us know if you test positive for Covid-19 regardless of if you are in Swansea or elsewhere. You can email myunisupport@swansea.ac.uk to let us know of a positive result.
