This is a reminder that from the 11th October Welsh Government guidelines are changing. People will be required to show the NHS COVID pass to prove they are either fully vaccinated or have a recent negative Lateral Flow Test to attend:
Please note, the Students’ Union will continue to abide by Welsh Government and University Guidelines and will adapt any events to meet these. Students will be informed of any changes they can expect when booking an event with the SU.
The NHS COVID Pass lets you share your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination records in a secure way. It also allows you to show others, when travelling abroad, that you’ve had a COVID-19 vaccine.
You can get an NHS COVID Pass if:
If you were vaccinated outside the UK, you need to get proof of vaccination from the country where you were vaccinated.
You can access the NHS COVID Pass via the NHS website (nhs.uk). This will allow you to produce a COVID pass using a smart phone, a computer or laptop.
To access the service, you’ll need to register for an NHS login. You will need to upload a photo of your ID (passport, full UK driving licence, full European driving licence).
Please note, in Wales, you cannot get it via the NHS app as this is only valid in England.
For more information please see the full guidelines on the Welsh Government web pages.

I’m absolutely appalled to see the university support discrimination and medical apartheid. This is a clear sign of moral rot, complete cowardice and submission in the face of creeping authoritarianism.
Your compliance with such blatant discrimination and disrespect for human rights will leave a lasting impression.
