  • Joana says:

Is the fully vaccinated status still limited to people vaccinated in the UK?

    • Student Partnership and Engagement Manager says:

Hi Joana, the Welsh Government advice states: You are considered to be fully vaccinated if it is at least 14 full days since you had the full course of an approved vaccine, and it was administered in the UK.

If you have not completed your vaccination course (usually 2 separate vaccinations), at least 14 full days before the close contact, or if you received your vaccination outside of the UK, you will be required to self-isolate if contacted by TTP. You can read the full guidance here: https://gov.wales/self-isolation#section-83727

      • Joana says:

For the future, you should include this very important fact in your statements as there are many fully vaccinated students who have not been vaccinated in the UK. Therefore, this does not apply to many of the university’s students, international or even EU students. Thank you.

  • Nichola James says:

What about if you’re currently self-isolating, which started before the new rules came out, and have children under 18 living in the same household, do they now have to self isolate as well? And if so, how long for? And from when? They have been testing negative with lateral flow tests.
