You are expected to test for COVID-19 before you leave Swansea for the Christmas vacation.
You should do this by taking two Lateral Flow tests (and report the results) three days apart, before you go, as part of your regular testing. You should time your tests so that you are taking your second test on the day, or the day before, you plan to leave Swansea so that you can travel as soon as possible after your second negative test.
You can obtain testing kits at various reception areas around both campuses. Full details can be found on our FAQ page.
Please ensure that you have sufficient test kits to allow you to carry out tests prior to your return to Swansea after the Christmas break.

are we allowed to stay in our accommodation over Christmas??? or do we have to go home
Hello Rhys! Yes students are allowed to stay in their accommodation over Christmas. Although, we would advise notifying your accommodation so they know you are there. Hopefully that helps. Thanks
