We would like to wish you all a safe and happy Christmas vacation and provide some important information for the festive period and January return.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming students back in January for more in person engagement opportunities.
Due to the emergence of the new Covid variant, we would encourage you to regularly check your student emails and the Welsh Government Website to be aware of any changes.

Before returning to your student accommodation and/or accessing campus facilities, students and researchers should test twice with Lateral Flow Tests (3 or 4 days apart) in the week before returning to Swansea University.
If you test before travel and test as close to your arrival as possible, this will significantly reduce the risk of you spreading the virus.
Please remember that you must notify MyUniSupport if you have symptoms of or have tested positive for Covid-19; or if you are isolating or quarantining.
If you are travelling to the UK from another country, you may be required to quarantine for a 10 day period. Details regarding quarantine and University support for students affected can be found here.
Semester two timetables will be available during the week commencing 10th January. Currently the provisional timetables are still being built and are subject to change so please do not make any plans surrounding these until they have been confirmed.
Research will be undertaken in a manner that is close to our pre-Covid model, rebuilding the ways of interaction between PGR students, supervisors, stakeholders and the wider research and PGR community.
For Christmas opening times and support available over the vacation, including catering, travel and welfare arrangements please see here.
Please take care and we hope you all have a restful break.
