Temperature check An Amber weather warning for Extreme Heat has been issued by the Met Office. The warning is currently for Sunday 17th July 2022 to Tuesday 19th July 2022.

The warning covers much of England and the Eastern side of Wales and includes the Neath Port Talbot area although it is probable that Swansea will also experience high temperatures.

We are providing this message so you can plan ahead and ensure that any activity that you, colleagues or our student community are undertaking, takes this into account.

Public Health Wales (PHW) has guidance for extreme heat weather and can be accessed HERE.

The guidance includes advice on how to look after yourself and how to keep your indoor environment cool. A poster with further information can be accessed HERE.
