The Civil Service is one of the largest employers in the UK, supporting the government of the day to implement its policies effectively. The Fast Stream is our award-winning leadership programme, where we develop high potential graduates into the future leaders of the Civil Service. This session will help support anyone who is due to sit the Fast Stream Assessment Centre but will also give an overview of what an assessment centre can be like for graduate programmes.
Former Swansea University student and Project Delivery Fast Streamer, Justine Jones, will give an overview of the scheme and the application process ahead of the 2021 application cycle.

Our choral and organ scholarship scheme is designed to support the scholar’s development as a musician, in partnership with St Mary’s Church, Swansea.
The scholarships are funded jointly between the University, St Mary’s Church and the Swansea St Mary’s Choral Trust (SSMCT).

Do you have an idea that will substantially improve our students’ experience of University? Does your sports club or society need more funding for equipment? Are you trying to launch a student business? Perhaps you are trying to fund a piece of research? We will consider all applications that meet the broad criteria set out below.
The typical value of grants is up to £3,000, though in exceptional circumstances bids of up to £5,000 will be considered.
All students can apply for a grant, either as an individual or as a team.
What is the Greatest Need Fund?
The Greatest Need Fund is supported by donations from our University’s alumni, staff and parents. Funds are distributed during the first term of the academic year. Academic and professional services staff, representatives from the Student’s Union and/or current alumni/donors will be on the disbursement panel.
