Students walking around Bay Campus and a mobile phone with Safezone app on screenWe advise all University students to download the Safezone app, which offers immediate access to on-campus security and a team of qualified and experienced first responders, through your mobile phone.

The app is easy to download and you can get help quickly in a personal emergency or if someone needs first aid.

Furthermore, you can check in when you are working alone or in high risk areas to share your status with the response team. You can set a timer on your check-in session that will automatically alert the team if you become unresponsive. SafeZone also sends you notifications in the event of an emergency, so you know what to do to stay safe.

Please note, you are never tracked, until you send an alert or check-in.

Download the app today by clicking the link below!

So we can support you both academically and with your wellbeing, please ensure you keep your engagement mode updated on your intranet profile (which is located under Personal Details in the Engagement Status tab, as well as your term-time address).

We ask students to change this as and when they arrive to engage on campus, for engagement monitoring purposes, or if they need to select a short period of online engagement due to quarantine or self-isolation due to Covid. If you are engaging with your studies online on a temporary basis please ensure you notify the MyUniSupport team of your circumstances.

For more information on engagement monitoring procedures, please visit the MyUni Engagement Monitoring pages.
