Students’ Union Easter Vacation Information
Your Students’ Union will be closed for the Easter Vacation from Friday 8th April 2022 until Monday 25th April.
The Advice and Support Centre will not be holding meetings during this time, but will still be answering emails sent to advice@swansea-union.co.uk.
If you require support for your wellbeing or mental health during the break, please email advice@swansea-union.co.uk. The break may result in a slight delay in answering emails.

SU Libraries April 2022 Update
What Library services are now available?
Library Services are just about back to normal now. To reduce any risk as much as possible, we are preserving social distancing in smaller rooms with poorer ventilation, and we continue to recommend that Library users wear face coverings. However, you may now visit all five of our sites, book a face-to-face one-to-one appointment with your Subject Librarian, book a group study pod, browse the book stacks, and use a study space without booking. Our remote support is still available too and you are welcome to continue to use Request and Collect or book appointments with Librarians via Zoom, whatever is most convenient. (more…)

Smoke Free University Policy
We are pleased to introduce the University’s new Smoke Free University Policy and Arrangements, which have been approved at CR Committee and by the Health and Wellbeing Board.
This policy is designed to secure a compliant, healthy and sustainable environment for everyone who works, studies at, and visits Swansea University. It clarifies our principles, rules and expectations around smoking and vaping on campus, and empowers individuals to politely and respectfully challenge those not adhering to the arrangements that have been put in place to protect the health and wellbeing of our community. Further Industrial Action at Swansea University
The national University and College Union (UCU) has announced that a further round of industrial action will take place for 5 days from the 28th March.
We understand many students will be concerned about the effect Industrial Action may have on your studies. Our priority is making sure we have the right support in place for our students and we are working across Faculties and support departments to minimise the impact on your learning and research.
Where appropriate students will not be assessed on material that has not been covered in the module, but please check with your School for details. (more…)
