Highway & Drainage Services will be undertaking a full draining survey and cleanse in the Crymlyn Burrows area between Monday 21st March and Friday 25th March.
You are asked not to park any vehicles in the Crymlyn Burrows area during this time. Vehicles parked in the area may be towed to allow the essential works to go ahead.
If you have to drive to University, we encourage you to make use of the Fabian Way secure Park and Ride facility.
From the Park & Ride, First Cymru’s 9A Service currently stops outside the Bay Campus. It currently costs £1 to park at the Park & Ride and £1 on the bus.
If you prefer not to take the bus, you can pick up a Santander Cycle from the Park & Ride and dock it at the Bay Campus hub.

Thank you all for your patience over the past few weeks with regards to bus service disruptions, which we do appreciate have been causing many of you frustration and concern. As you know, the disruptions have been caused by a number of issues, including the impacts of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic on driver availability, as well as extensive roadworks taking place across the City.
The Good News!
We want you to know that we are in constant communication with Campus to Campus service provider First Cymru with regards to the ongoing issues, and are taking your concerns and feedback directly to the organisation’s senior management. As a gesture of goodwill, the team at First Cymru have agreed to reduce the cost of the Term 3 Bus Pass to £66 (£44 with My Travel Pass). This will be available to purchase from April, and will cover all First Cymru buses in Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire (up to the bus station), and Bridgend (up to the bus station). I wanted to send you an update on bus services, as I appreciate there have been some significant disruptions this term as a result of the pandemic, and other contributory factors, including roadworks.
First of all I wanted to apologise for the disruptions you have experienced; to take this opportunity to acknowledge your frustrations; explain the cause of some of the issues, and highlight what we are doing to try and ensure the situation continues to improve. (more…)

The City and County of Swansea have informed us that, due to road works, the portion of High Street between Saint Marys Church and Dyfatty lights is completely closed. This is likely to remain the case for least 3 days and delays are very likely.
Anyone travelling by car or bus to/ from the Railway Station will be told to depart at Orchard Street.
Bus drivers will be advising students to walk down to Orchard Street to catch buses, or pick up outside The Roost on New Cut road.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
