Participants required for web usability studies
I am looking for students currently undertaking masters level courses to participate in web usability studies. The purpose of these is to find out if it is possible to gather useful information in a shorter time than is traditionally required. There are three simple, web based tasks to complete and the whole exercise will take around 45 minutes. Participants will be given a £5 Amazon voucher in exchange for their time.

Biscuit Taste Test Study: Volunteers still needed for Psychology Study paying £6
Do you put on weight easily? Do you often find food tastes too good to resist? Come and help us find out why in our taste test study The Swansea University Psychology Department is investigating the reasons underlying different perceptions of taste.

The aim of the study is to investigate the effect that mood can have on basic brain functions like memory, decision making and the experience of sensory information such as taste and smell. It has previously been shown that sensory processing relies on cognitive processes like memory, but few studies have looked at how mood influences both systems at the same time.
The experiment takes about 50 minutes of your time and includes some brief memory, choice and reaction time tasks, a mood questionnaire and a taste test. This will be followed by some questionnaires on food preferences, personality and general background health information including height and weight. If you would like to take part in this study, it is important that you eat your typical breakfast/lunch that day, have no food allergies or be taking any medication that affects appetite. We are able to offer you £6 in exchange for your kind participation in this study which is running throughout 2013.
