A classic Kurosawa film, RAN (12A), comes to Taliesin Wednesday – a historical epic with a silent central battle scene that must be seen to be believed. Also, Swansea University Dance Society brings us Reflections on Friday and Saturday night.

Get your photo taken professionally and be sure to shine on all your professional networks! Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Academia, ResearchGate… These are but a few examples of where people may first come across your academic/professional profile. Make it count with a professional photograph that shows how serious you are about your research and/or career. To help us along, we are lucky to have two wonderful photographers for the afternoon: Tammy & Tim. Have a look at some of Tammy’s work here: http://www.tammyschuh.com/ For only £2.50 for Society Members / Associate Members (£7.50 for non-Members), you will get a high quality portrait looking sharp against a white background – or another colour of your choice. There will be 5-10 minute slots available for each attendee to take their picture. Attendees will be asked to sign up to a specific slot on the day, on a first-come-first-serve basis. No refunds will be provided. You can become a Member (if you are a student) or an Associate Member (if you are not a student) for £5 after loggin-in to the Students’ Union website here:
